Pedestrian Dead After Being Hit By Car In Cleveland Heights

A person walking near Noble and Woodridge roads was hit by a car on Tuesday night, police said.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car while walking near Noble and Woodridge roads on Tuesday evening.

The pedestrian, a 64-year-old man, had injuries to their head and legs, according to Cleveland Heights Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg. They were taken to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the 64-year-old was crossing the street when he was struck by a pick-up truck. No one has yet been charged in connection to this incident, Mecklenburg told Patch.
