Police Blotter: Boy Says He Was Robbed at Gunpoint in Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park

Cleveland Heights Police arrest three suspects

A boy said he was walking through Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park at the corner of Coventry Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard Aug. 11 when three people tried to rob him at gunpoint.

They said "give us everything you got," he said. The boy ran home, and an adult called police to give them a description.

Police later located three suspects and arrested a 20-year-old from Cleveland, a 15-year-old from Cleveland Heights and a 15-year-old from East Cleveland. The man and boys were charged with aggravated robbery, and were not found with a weapon.Β

Man says he was robbed on front porchΒ 

A 19-year-old man said he was sitting on his front porch on the 3200 block of Meadowbrook Boulevard Aug. 12 when a man approached him. The unknown man stole $600, house keys, his phone and a belt, and threatened him with a gun. Police did not find any suspects, and the robbery is still under investigation.Β
