A man called police just before 4 a.m. Nov. 2 and said he had been shot in the leg near Noble and Woodridge roads. The man said he was running an errand around 3 a.m. when he was confronted by another man, and the stranger shot him. Police said the injured man is recovering and are still investigating the incident.

Parking spot battle at Severance Town Center ends in arrest

A 68-year-old Cleveland Heights resident was arrested and charged with criminal damaging in what apparently began as a battle over a parking space near Marshall’s in . The man and another shopper had a dispute over the spot at about 11:30 a.m. Nov. 7, police said, and the Cleveland Heights resident keyed the other person’s car.

Woman says she was robbed at gunpoint

A woman said she was robbed at gunpoint around 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6 near Middlehurst and Hampshire roads. Police are still investigating.

Juvenile arrests

A 12-year-old student was arrested and charged with drug possession Nov. 1. Police say the Cleveland Heights boy had marijuana.

Police arrested and charged seven boys from Cleveland Heights with trespassing and gambling after they found the boys gambling behind at about 5 p.m. Nov. 1. The teenagers range in age from 14 to 16 years old.

Police arrested two 18-year-old men and one 17-year-old boy from Cleveland and charged them with attempted burglary. Police said the Cleveland Heights resident heard the suspects breaking a window around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 1, and police found the suspects shortly after.

Police arrested seven juveniles and charged them with disorderly conduct after a police officer saw them fighting near the 2100 block of Marlindale Road just before 4 p.m. Nov. 4.

Man charged with theft at Dave's Market

A 44-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested and charged with theft after attempting to steal $195 worth of groceries from at Severance Town Center around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 3.
