Police Blotter: Man Robbed at Gunpoint After Delivering Pizza
A young man robbed the pizza shop employee as he was walking back to his car in Cleveland Heights

A man was delivering a pizza on the 3400 block of Desota Avenue around 10 p.m. Sept. 17 when a young man carrying a gun approached him as he was walking back to his car.
He stole his money (police would not disclose the exact amount) and ran. Police are still investigating the incident.Β

On Sept. 22, several people reported that someone broke into their apartment buildings and damaged and stole money from the coin machines in their laundry rooms.
Three incidents were reported on the 2600 block of Mayfield Road between noon and 12:30 p.m., while the other two occurred on the 1700 block of Middlehurst Road and the 14100 block of Superior Road and were called in at 12:44 p.m. and at 5:22 p.m. Police did not know whether the crimes were related or how much money was stolen, but they are investigating the break-ins.Β
