Police Blotter: Man Tries to Break In While Man and Woman Are Asleep

A man and woman were asleep at 10:35 a.m. Feb. 3 when they heard a window break in their home on the 2400 block of Overlook Road. They called police and said a man was trying to come into the house. Police found a suspect, a 44-year-old man from Cleveland, arrested him and charged him with burglary.

Heights High students arrested for disorderly conduct after school

Police said that several students congregated outside of around 4 p.m. Feb. 2 and were being disorderly. Police said it does not appear they were fighting, but they were “extremely distraught” and resisting arrest. Two 16-year-olds were charged with disorderly conduct.
