Police Blotter: Man Tries to Break In While Man and Woman Are Asleep
The sound of him breaking a window woke them up

A man and woman were asleep at 10:35 a.m. Feb. 3 when they heard a window break in their home on the 2400 block of Overlook Road. They called police and said a man was trying to come into the house. Police found a suspect, a 44-year-old man from Cleveland, arrested him and charged him with burglary.

stopped a man at 8:37 a.m. Feb. 2 near Noble and Navahoe roads for going 32 mph in a school zone. Police smelled marijuana as they approached the car and called the . While they were waiting, the man took off. Police followed him for a while but did not catch him. Police have issued a warrant for the suspect.

Heights High students arrested for disorderly conduct after school
Police said that several students congregated outside of around 4 p.m. Feb. 2 and were being disorderly. Police said it does not appear they were fighting, but they were βextremely distraughtβ and resisting arrest. Two 16-year-olds were charged with disorderly conduct.
