Police Blotter: Police Searching for Suspect in Cedar Fairmount Break-In

Chief Jeffrey Robertson said police are searching for a suspect, pictured here, in connection with a break-in near the Cedar Fairmount area Dec. 1. The man is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, and wearing an electrical cord as a belt. People with information should call police at 216-321-1234 or 216-291-4705.

Burglary, theft and break-in reports Nov. 30 to Dec. 5

A caller reported to police that two men were running up Eddington Road with electronics under their arms at 12:21 p.m. Dec. 5. Police did not see anyone when they arrived.

A caller reported a burglary on the 1600 block of Hillcrest Road at 4 p.m. Dec. 5.

A caller reported a burglary on the 3700 block of Northampton Road at 5:28 p.m. Dec. 5.

A caller reported a break in on the 13100 block of Cedar Road at 10:17 a.m. Dec. 4.

A caller reported a burglary on the 2700 block of Lancashire Road Dec. 4.

A caller reported a burglary at 2:25 p.m. Dec. 3 on the 3300 block of Kildare Road, but does not want to take action against the youth suspects involved.

Someone stole a bike and a GPS unit from a garage on the 3400 block of Blanche Avenue. The caller reported the incident at 8:48 p.m. Dec. 3.

Three callers said someone stole items from their cars between 4:48 a.m. and 6:46 a.m. Dec. 2 on the 2500 block and 2400 block of Derbyshire Road and on the corner of Euclid Heights Boulevard and Lennox Road.

Someone reported a break-in on the 2400 block of Fairmount Boulevard at 8 a.m. Dec. 2.

A woman reported at 2:26 p.m. Dec. 2 that someone stole her mail-in prescriptions from her front porch on the 2000 block of Coventry Road.

Someone reported a burglary on the 2700 block of Hampshire Road at 4:07 p.m. Dec. 2.

A caller reported a car theft on the 1800 block of Coventry Road at 9:20 p.m. Dec. 2.

A caller reported a car theft on the 3400 block of Mayfield Road at 10:20 p.m. Dec. 2.

A caller reported a burglary on the 3700 block of Northampton Road at 10:29 p.m. Dec. 1.

A man reported at 12:16 a.m. Dec. 2 that someone broke into his apartment on the 2400 block of Overlook Road.

A caller reported a car theft on the 900 block of Montford Road at 8:14 p.m. Dec. 2.

Someone reported a burglary on the 1200 block of Oxford Road at 10:13 p.m. Dec. 1.

A caller reported a car theft on the 3100 block of Eastwick Drive at 8:31 a.m. Nov. 30.

Someone stole copper plumbing from a home on the 2400 block of Overlook Road. The incident was reported at 11:35 a.m. Nov. 30.

A woman reported at 11:41 a.m. Nov. 30 that someone broke into her home overnight on the 1000 block of Helmsdale Road.

A caller reported at 1:34 p.m. Nov. 30 that someone broke into a rental property on the 1000 block of Englewood Road.

A caller reported at 4:15 p.m. Nov. 30 that the security system wires were cut from a building on the 2400 block of Fairmount Boulevard.
