School Board Quick Takes: Board Reiterates its Opposition to Issue 2

- Student leaders in the Minority Student Achievement Network spoke about their trip to Columbia, MO, in September for the coalition's annual student conference. The CH-UH School District is one of 24 districts nationwide that belong to MSAN. About 50 students participate at .
- Two parents thanked the district for its to two elementary schools β and β as it allowed their children to receive more rigorous instruction. Students spend all day in the gifted class. In previous years, gifted students were pulled out of their regular classrooms for just a few hours each day.
- The United Way presented the district with an award, thanking CH-UH for its contributions to the organization.
