Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education honors students during Tuesday meeting

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education heard from twoΒ City of Cleveland Heights Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest winners at Tuesday's meeting.

Garrison Lash and Terrance Law, both sophomores atΒ The Renaissance School of Humanities & International StudiesΒ at wrote about an incident when their baseball team visited a small town in rural Ohio for a tournament game.

The teens each wrote about incidents of racism that they witnessed during the trip and how they dealt with those situations.
