Kent Police Honored by AAA
Motorists group recognizes city for traffic enforcement safety
The AAA drivers' club recently recognized the Kent Police Department for its traffic safety programs in 2012.
Kent Police received the Community Traffic Safety Bronze Award for 2012 from AAA for dedication to preserving lives through traffic safety programming and education.
Kent Police Lt. James Prusha said the department was recognized for several programs, including Click it or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" traffic enforcement campaigns.

Those same campaigns earned the department a free police cruiser for their results in 2011.
