Entertainment options for around Kent this weekend.
- Sidewalk Cinema — See the 1954 version of the film Godzilla Friday night on a 30-foot inflatable screen in Home Savings Plaza as part of Standing Rock Cultural Arts Downtown Innovative Community Events series. The free showing starts at dusk.
- Rocky Horror — The Kent Stage will hold a showing of the classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show Saturday at midnight.
- Kent State Preview — High school freshman interested in attending Kent State University can get a preview of the campus this weekend. Registration is available online.
- Neighborhood Garage Sale — Several families on Harvey, Miller, Danzel, Steele and Doramoor streets will be holding a joint garage sale starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
- Block Art — FJKluth Gallery will hold an open session for creating art with wood blocks from 4-6 p.m. Saturday with light refreshments.
