Mentor Patch is one of close to 800 hyper-local news sites operated by Patch across the country. This acquisition is likely to have little direct effect on sites like Mentor Patch, but honestly we don't know exactly what the impact will be.
In the meantime, Mentor Patch will continue to cover local news as it has done since its launch.
