Adams is the author of Rock ’n Roll and the Cleveland Connection and the newly released Cleveland's Rock & Roll Roots.

She will be speaking at 6:30 p.m. in the library's main branch.
Adams -- who is also an instructor and award-winning essayist -- will recount many behind-the-music stories about the Cleveland record spinners that “got the rock rolling.”

Attendees can experience the musical history by listening to recordings, watching videos and hearing fun stories about Cleveland’s diverse musical artists, including The O’Jays, the James Gang, Joe Walsh and many others.
This talk is free. However, attendees are asked to register beforehand. They can do so by calling the library at 440-255-8811 or visiting www.mentorpl.org.
