If people buy frozen yogurt this weekend from the Mentor Menchie's, 20 percent of the proceeds will go to Lake Humane Society
Want a sweet treat while helping a good cause?
If people go to the shoppes in Willoughby or Mentor between 1 and 5 p.m. either Saturday or Sunday, 20 percent of their proceeds will be donated to the .
The money will help the local animal shelter take care of and find permanent homes for abandoned and orphaned dogs, cats and more.

Additionally, the humane society will have orphaned pets looking for forever homes at Menchie's this weekend, as well.
In related news, Lake Humane Society raised more than $20,000 during its recent Mutt Strut event at Mentor City Call.
