PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR VARIANCE BEFORE THE MENTOR MUNICIPAL BOARD OF BUILDING AND ZONING APPEAL

KATELYN CAPEK FOR 8142 RUSHTON DRIVE, PP16-B-096-A-00-112-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1173.13(b)(1)(2) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow for a jet ski trailer to be parked in the side yard of a lot adjacent to Washington Avenue in lieu of the requirement that trailers shall not be parked between the right-of-way and the setback of the main structure, including side streets on corner lots, and shall be parked on an improved surface in the R-2, Single Family Residential District.

PROFICIENT ASSEMBLY, LLC. & BARBARA LINCOLN FOR 8911 HEADLANDS ROAD, PP16-D-111-A-00-009-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1155.01(b) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 22-ft. front building setback and a 9’ 6” side setback in lieu of the requirement that the front building setback shall be at least 50-ft. and the side setback no less than 10 ft. in the R-2, Single Family Residential District.

VINCENT CENTANNE FOR 8686 APPLEWOOD COURT, PP16-C-087-H-00-022-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1165.01(b)(2) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 320 sq. ft. greenhouse and a 400 sq. ft. pavilion totaling 720 sq. ft. in lieu of the code maximum area of 309 sq. ft. (or 15 percent) for accessory structures based on the floor area of the dwelling in the RVG, Village Green District.
