Facebook Tip Helps Mentor Police Identify Walmart Shoplifters

Ask and you shall receive.

Mentor Police were trying to identify a pair of shoplifters who stole from Walmart. To that end, on the department's Facebook page.

The public responded by providing tips and now both suspects have been identified, according to Mentor Police.

One suspect -- 27-year-old Donald Irvine from Fairport Harbor -- was arrested in Painesville and has been charged with theft.

Mentor Police are seeking a warrant for the second suspect.
