Gander Mountain Teaches Walleye Fishing At Mentor Public Library
Seminar hooked fishing pros and rookies alike
and Mentor Public Library kicked off their seminar series on hunting and fishing with a talk about the best practices for catching walleye last week at the .
Matt Buck and Mitch Leppelmeier, of Gander Mountain, shared their years of experience to the 17 fishing enthusiasts who attended the seminar.
They presented several approaches to walleye fishing, trolling techniques and lure selection to the participants. They also talked about the best Lake Erie walleye fishing sites and the importance of timing and water temperature to snag the elusive fish.

Mentor Gander Mountain staff will present a seminar on fly fishing/bow fishing. Presentation will feature how to fly fish, tie a lure, archery how-tos and equipment suggestions. Registration begins July 5.
Gander Mountain at the Library Seminar: Urban Deer Hunting
Thursday, Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Mentor Gander Mountain staff will present a seminar featuring archery setups and tips on urban deer hunting. Registration begins Aug. 2.
All of the seminars are free to attend but registration is required for each.
