Hit-Skip Suspect Turns Himself In

The man accused of knocking down a utility pole on Plaza Boulevard and then running away turned himself into police

The on Plaza Boulevard and then running away from the crash has turned himself into police, according to the Mentor Police Department Facebook page.

The crash occurred shortly before midnight on Wednesday. However, the man fled on foot before police arrived.

Michael J. Perry, 50, has since turned himself in. He was charged with hit-skip and failure to control.
