Mentor Teenager Sentenced To Prison For Selling Drugs
Tyler Sweeney sentenced to seven months in prison, still faces a charge of fleeing and eluding
A Mentor man was sentenced to seven months in prison for trafficking marijuana.
Lake County Common Pleas Judge Vincent Culotta gave Tyler Sweeney, 19, his punishment Wednesday.
Sweeney previously pleaded guilty to two counts of marijuana trafficking and one count of complicity to marijuana trafficking.

As part of his sentencing, Sweeney also forfeited the more than $3,000 he had on him when police arrested him.
Sweeney still faces a charge of fleeing and eluding, stemming from an incident with Mentor Police.

The altercation happened in June, according to the Mentor Police Department's Facebook page.
When an officer tried to pull him over, Sweeney drove away in a white 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. The officer chose not to pursue in the best interest of public safety.
Sweeney remained on the lam for about a month
