New Executive Director To Lead Lake Humane Society In Mentor
Lori Caszatt is Lake Human Society's newest executive director.
MENTOR, OH β The Board of Directors of Lake Humane Society recently announced the appointment of Lori Caszatt as executive director. She officially stepped into the new role Wednesday.
Caszatt holds degrees from John Carroll University (Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration), Ursuline College (Bachelor of Arts In Humanities) and Lakeland Community College (Associate of Arts) and brings experience from the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library and United Way Services of Geauga County.
She initially joined Lake Humane Society as a board member and then vice president of the board of directors. She served in that capacity for nearly six years. In June of 2020 she joined the staff as the Director of Marketing and Community Partnerships.

Caszatt was originally appointed interim executive director after the sudden passing of Director Lee Nesler on July 17, 2021.

Caszatt is a lifelong Lake County resident and lives in Mentor with her husband Sean, their two rescue dogs and three rescue cats, all Lake Humane Society alum.
She serves on the Board of Directors for Dare 2 Care International, is a Rotarian and member of several community-based and animal welfare organizations.
