Police Looking For Man Accused Of Growing Marijuana, Skipping Court
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of William "Billy" Whitman is asked to call Mentor Police

Mentor Police are looking for a man who is accused of growing marijuana in his Center Street yard and skipping court.
William "Billy" Whitman, 49, of Mentor, was charged with cultivating marijuana, obstructing official business and contempt of court.
He was scheduled to appear on July 30 in but he never showed, according to online court records.

Consequently, the judge issued a warrant for Whitman's arrest. He is also wanted out of Ashtabula and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Offices, according to the Mentor Police Facebook page.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Whitman is asked to call Mentor Police at 440-255-1234.

On the department's Facebook page, Mentor Police warned that Whitman is considered dangerous and instructed people not to approach him.
