Try your luck at the Texas Hold 'Em tournaments; enjoy the delectable food such as homemade perogies, cabbage rolls and noodles and bakery items, our famous fresh-cut French fries, roasted corn and festival favorites like hamburgers, ice cream, pizza and slushies beckon our guests back year after year.

Enjoy live entertainment each evening of the festival with Northeast Ohio’s favorite bands like Festivus, Redneck, Inc. and LMNOP’s 80’s & 90’s music.Β Β

Families will enjoy rides for all ages with all-day ride passes or individual ticket options available, as well as fire truck rides, face painting, and a caricature artist.

Where/When: Lake Metroparks Farmpark (8800 Euclid Chardon Rd, Kirtland,) Saturday and Sunday

Why Go: This event features a number of fun events, including dock-jumping presentations, a pet hospital, games, field and water skills, horse and hound relay, a parade of breeds, sled dogs and much more. Please do not bring pets.

Pricing: $6 for adults, $5 for kids and seniors

Where/When: , 6:30 p.m., Thursday

Why Go: Hear author Justin Glanville and illustrator Julia Kuo talk about their book "New to Cleveland."

The book features more than 50 illustrations by local artist Kuo and text by writer and urban planner Glanville.

The program will be held in the lower level of the Main Library in the James R. Garfield Room.

Why Go: Get into the shade of the woods and explore the upland forest and shrub ecosystem surrounding the Marsh. Nature lovers (or even nature likers) can work on identification as well as discuss forest diversity and trends on this informational hike.

Where/When: Legacy Village (25333 Cedar Rd, Lyndhurst,) 10 a.m. Saturday

Why Go: The Cleveland Sight Center is hosting its seventh annual White Cane Walk at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, an annual fundraising event help provide services and programs for people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired and to help increase awareness of the White Cane Law in Ohio.

Participants use a white cane while walking blindfolded around Legacy Village in Lyndhurst with the assistance of a sighted guide partner. This is an opportunity to be part of a one-of-a-kind event that is both educational and fun for all ages, and kids will be excited to know that Radio Disney will be at the event.

Trapper Jack from The New 102.1 FM WDOK will be the Master of Ceremonies sharing his own experience with vision loss. In addition to the walk there will be demonstrations, hands-on activities and information about vision rehabilitation and services that enable people who are blind or have low vision to live more safely and independently.
