Vote For 'Bark For Your Park' & Win Mentor A New Dog Park
The winning city will get $100,000 for a dog park

Jill Korsok, an employee for Mentor's Parks and Recreation Department, loves the and the people who use it.
But that doesn't mean she would turn down $100,000 to help build a new, bigger one.
Mentor is participating in the Bark for your Park contest in which people vote for their city and the city that receives the most votes gets $100,000 from PetSafe to build a dog park.

"If we win, we might use it to build a new dog park," Korsok said.
She explained the current dog park uses land that was donated by CEI; and, while they appreciate both the donation and the park, that limits their options when it comes to expansion.

She said a new park could have more space for the dogs to play, as well as additional parking.
Thus far, the city of Mentor has accrued more than 400 votes.
People can vote twice a day -- once on PetSafe's web site and once on its Facebook page.
Korsok said she hopes the city gets the $100,000 for the dog park because the people who use it deserve it.
"It's a really tight-knit group of people who go there," she said. "They socialize with each other while their dogs get some exercise and to socialize, also."
