• OPD respond to multiple theft reports during final week of Miami classes (oxfreepress.com) — Oxford Police reported a busy final week of Miami’s fall semester, responding to thefts, a scooter and vehicle break-in, and an unwanted person at Oxford Spirits who was arrested on a warrant. Officers also handled a pedestrian hit in a crosswalk and a vehicle that struck a fire hydrant, with one person taken to McCullough-Hyde Hospital.

• Hanna House among Spring Street properties to be deconstructed (oxfreepress.com) — Several Miami University buildings on Spring Street in Oxford, including Hanna House, Williams Hall, Wells Hall and Joyner House, are slated for deconstruction by summer 2026, opening space for future academic growth. Trustees also reviewed updated plans for a major new multi-purpose arena and related campus changes, decisions that could reshape traffic, recreation fields and development around Cook Field and Millett Hall.
