• OPD handles assaults, more fraud cases in slow week (oxfreepress.com) — Oxford police handled a relatively light but varied caseload in early December, from a burglary at Miami Commons and fraud at the Annex apartments to vandalism, a serious late-night assault and several welfare-related calls. No suspects have been identified in the major theft and assault cases, and investigations remain ongoing, so residents should stay alert and report any helpful information.
