Hi all. I'm back in your inbox this chilly morning with all the most important things happening in Toledo these days. In this issue, you'll find news about:

  • The YWCA AMEND Together program is a partnership with Toledo Public Schools to address violence against women by engaging with men and boys.
  • I-75 has reopened to one lane after the Lime City overpass accident that led to the closure since Friday.

Here are the top five stories today in Toledo:

  1. The husband of Dee Warner, who disappeared in April 2021, was in probate court Tuesday on criminal contempt of court charges. Warner's brother filed the charges as the conservator of her estate, alleging the husband was "diverting her assets and withholding documents." (WTVG)
  2. The YWCA AMEND Together program is a partnership with Toledo Public Schools to address violence against women by engaging with men and boys. The pilot program will begin at Jones Leadership Academy with hopes it will spread to more schools. (WTVG)
  3. The Ohio Attorney General's Office is considering suing Norfolk Southern, the train company that derailed in East Palestine, Ohio that damaged the environment. The announcement was made the same day Norfolk Southern chose not to attend an East Palestine town hall meeting. (WTOL)
  4. I-75 has reopened to one lane after the Lime City overpass accident that led to the closure since Friday. The Ohio Dept. of Transportation will have to finalize designs for a new bridge and then bid out for the contracts in an eight week process. (WTOL)
  5. Mark Zielinski, 32, has been missing from Bedford Township since Saturday, February 11. Zielinski was last seen leaving for work in Lenawee County and "is known to frequent the greater Toledo area." (WDIV ClickOnDetroit)

  • The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is warning of an increase in Norovirus cases throughout the area. Health commissioner Dr. Eric Zgodzinski says washing hands and fruits and vegetables is the best way to prevent the virus. (WNWO)
  • Ten candidates remain in the search for the next Toledo Police Department Chief. Interim Chief Michael Troendle was appointed last month and Ralph Andersen and Associates is assisting in the process. (WTVG)
