Lucas County Government: Help For Property Owners Impacted By COVID-19

Anita Lopez Lucas County Auditor, informs property owners and tenants with property values negatively affected by COVID to apply quickly; no later than September 2, 2021, to file a property value reduction with the Lucas County Board of Revision.

Ohio S.B. 57 allows property owners or commercial tenants the ability to file property value complaints with the Board of Revision and seek property tax reductions which may lower property tax bills.

File COVID complaints electronically or request a paper form (DTE1A) from the Auditor's Office.
