- An influx of 160 students in the last four years has led to a Ottawa Hills School District levy proposal for the November 2023 ballot. Superintendent Adam Fineske said the funds are needed for the rising costs of teachers, staff, and advances in technology. (WNWO NBC 24)
- The University of Toledo Medical Center will interview former St. Luke's employees on Monday from 8:30 to 4 PM at the UTP Clinic on Monclova Road in Maumee. Positions are available for UTMC and the University of Toledo Physicians group. (WTVG)
- The National Museum of the Great Lakes will host a lecture on Rutherford B. Hayes for its 2023 Spring Lecture Series. Presenter Dan Baker explains the Hayes family's ties to the region and the purchase of a Lake Erie island. (La Prensa)
- The Ability Center's services for "youth, families, teens, and young adults with disabilities" will be known as the Independent Living Program. Offering two tracks (birth to 12 and 13-24, opportunities include inclusive family-friendly events, educational series, toy lending closet, personal finance, cooking leadership, and much more. - Woodmore High School has hosted inclusive kickball games that showcase the skills of students with disabilities during Disability Awareness Month Spirit Week. A three-on-three basketball event this Sunday will benefit Christy's Corner, a business that employees workers with disabilities. (WTOL)
