  1. A teenager was rushed to the hospital after being shot on Upton Avenue near the Toledo Technology Academy of Engineering around 2 AM Friday. The victim managed to get help from a neighbor and Toledo Police recovered at least one shell casing after searching the school grounds. (WTOL)
  2. The Toledo Museum of Art and Superblue are bringing a new installation, Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg - Machine Auguries: Toledo, from April 29 - November 26. The work will be the first in the U.S. for the artist and "her largest indoor installation to date." (La Prensa)
  3. The Toledo Police responded to Franklin Park Mall Tuesday night after a man and woman were robbed by three armed individuals in ski masks. The robbery took place around 8:05 PM and resulted in a shoulder injury to the male victim. (WTOL)
  4. Northwood's own Hirzel Canning Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary of home-grown goods. The company opened in 1923 and will debut a new can design as well as donate to local food banks in celebration. (WNWO)
  5. Three men have been arrested for the May 2022 shooting death of 21-year-old Cayvon Wells in the 2200 block of Isherwood. One of the suspects, 19-year-old Byron Cleveland, "is also accused in the fatal shooting of 10-year-old Damia Ezell last year." (WTVG)

  • Neighbors on Starr Avenue are complaining of an abandoned house that has been the site of alleged drug activity and "neighborhood kids going in and out at all times of the night." The house is on the city's demolition list, the cost of which will go toward the owner's tax bill. (WTVG)
  • Toledo is celebrating Restaurant Week February 27 through March 5 and proceeds go toward Leadership Toledo "to host personal growth opportunities with community services, development and networking." (WNWO NBC 24)
