- An unidentified thief has stolen six flatscreen TVs from the Monroe Best Buy since February 14, 2023. Security footage shows each incident, including one unmasked shot, and workers are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect. (WTVG)
- Toledo Police arrested Rukshan Abeyratne for possession of "more than 120 files of child pornography after serving a subpoena in December." Abeyratne has been in the country since November of 2020 on an F2 visa while his wife attends the University of Toledo. (WTVG)
- The Toledo Rockets women's basketball team was knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the second round by the Tennessee Lady Volunteers. The Rockets lost 94-47 after beating No. 3 Iowa 80-73 in Round 1 on Saturday. (WTOL)
- UPDATE: The woman rescued by Toledo Fire & Rescue from a house fire on Ventura Drive last Monday has succumbed to her injuries. A dog also perished in the fire while a second adult escaped without injuries. (WTOL)
- Joseph Hoag Sr., 34, of Toledo died in a motorcycle crash in Monroe County Sunday morning around 12:16 AM. Hoag lost control rounding a curve before moving left of center, leaving the roadway, and striking a tree and utility pole. Officials say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash. (WNWO)

- Electronic violinist, dancer, and artist Lindsey Stirling will perform at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania on August 4 as part of her U.S. summer tour. (WTVG)
- Senate Bill 83 would ban mandatory Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion courses for students and staff among other new rules and regulations proposed by main sponsor Republican Senator Jerry Cirino of Kirkland, Ohio. (WTVG)
- Eric Shields, 32, was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center after his bicycle was struck by a vehicle around 12:09 AM on Arlington Avenue Saturday. (WNWO)
