The Center for International Studies and Programs is hosting a festival carnival from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, in the Thompson Student Union Auditorium.

There will be 16 activity tables during the event for people to experience and to learn about Chinese culture, including paper cutting, kite painting, fortune-telling, sugar painting, Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese clothing, tea ceremony, lantern riddles, ring toss, Chinese lucky knot and much more.
“We encourage everyone to stop by during lunchtime just to try out some fun activities and get to learn a piece of the culture,” said Xinren Yu, assistant director for the Center for International Studies and Programs.

Attendees can also enjoy a free lunch and win giveaways as they celebrate the Year of the Tiger. The event is open to the public.
