The Eberly Center for Women will host monthly mentor circles for women graduate students, faculty and staff to build a support system for navigating their academic or career path. “Peer mentoring is a powerful tool for professional development,” said Dr. Angela Fitzpatrick, director of the Eberly Center. “Some of my most important supporters in graduate school were my peers. We helped each other navigate graduate assistantships, the dissertation process and the job market. To this day we continue to show up for each other to celebrate our accomplishments and troubleshoot our challenges.”
Mentor circles will meet virtually to make the experience accessible for graduate students and employees across both campuses.
