City Council and Mayor Dennis Clough recently honored both men for their roles in major projects like City Hall, Crocker Park improvements, and bringing Tri-C’s Westshore Campus and American Greetings headquarters to Westlake.
   

• Man charged in fraud scheme using stolen gift cards (news5cleveland.com) — A clerk at the Speedway at Bradley and Detroit in Westlake spotted suspicious gift card purchases, helping police uncover a sophisticated multi-state fraud scheme now involving Homeland Security. Westlake officers arrested a suspect tied to identity theft across several states and are urging residents to be cautious about sharing personal information in response to unexpected emails, texts, or calls.
