Suspect Hit Window Of Dodge At Westlake Car Dealership: Police

WESTLAKE, OH — A man tried to break out a window on a Dodge parked at the Serpentini Chevrolet lot on Aug. 14, Westlake police announced.

Surveillance footage showed the man trying to break the window overnight, police said.

As police launched their investigation, they learned their suspect had been taken into custody in Warrensville Heights for trying to steal a car.

The suspect is a 21-year-old man from Painesville, police said. Charges for the Westlake incident will be presented to a grand jury, a Westlake police spokesperson said.
