WHS Model UN Brings Home Awards
Through participation in Model UN simulations, students achieve global learning objectives.

From Westlake HS: The Westlake High School Model United Nations Club recently brought home awards from the Cleveland Council on World Affairs Conference held at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
Junior Shawn Walls won Best Delegate and the Gavel Award. Freshman Molly Finucane, sophomore Bekah Hardy and junior Valentina Wolf won Honorable Mentions.

Model UN is an interactive program that brings world affairs alive for students. Through participation in Model UN simulations, students achieve global learning objectives. They learn how to investigate the world, recognize different perspectives, communicate ideas to diverse audiences, and apply what they learn creatively during research, debate and conference time.
