Here are the top 3 stories today in Oklahoma City:
- A man has died after suffering a medical episode while in the custody of the Oklahoma City Police Department. Officers responded to reports of shots fired near Northwest 10th Street and North Portland Avenue on Saturday afternoon and arrested 65-year-old Charles Kim Moore, who appeared to begin suffering a medical episode while being placed in handcuffs. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office is still working to determine Moore's cause of death. (KOKI FOX 23 TULSA)
- A suspect accused of firing a gun outside of a busy Oklahoma City bar turned himself in on Wednesday morning. Malcome Barnes, 21, allegedly fired several rounds near a crowd by the Sunset Patio Bar on Feb. 19. A security guard on duty at the time shot Barnes twice, but police say they did not immediately arrest the suspect because they were still investigating. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
- At least 20 cars were destroyed in a fire at a salvage yard near Southeast 55th Street and Phillips Avenue on Wednesday night. Fire crews called in brush pumpers to transport water to extinguish the flames, as fire engines were unable to maneuver to the back area of the fire. Officials are currently investigating the incident, which has been ruled suspicious. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
