'I couldn't breathe': Family mourns death of man killed in northwest Oklahoma City workplace accident (koco.com) — A 34-year-old construction worker was killed Thursday after being run over by equipment at a construction site in northwest Oklahoma City, and federal safety officials are now investigating. Cyclists and neighbors are split between wanting safer, connected routes and concerns about reduced lanes on a major arterial, with a key council decision expected December 30.

BBB Serving Central Oklahoma warns of holiday scams (kfor.com) — Scammers are targeting Oklahoma City residents with fake social media deals, bogus holiday job offers, and phony package-delivery texts, according to the Better Business Bureau Serving Central Oklahoma. Officials urge you to slow down, verify offers, and call the local BBB if something feels off before sharing personal information or money online.
   

5. Fate of local TV sports broadcasts hinge on FanDuel Sports Network sale (oklahoman.com) — Oklahoma City Thunder fans could soon see their local TV broadcasts thrown into uncertainty if a planned sale of FanDuel-branded regional sports networks to DAZN falls through. The network’s parent company has missed a key rights payment, and the NBA is already huddling with affected teams about backup plans if broadcasts are disrupted midseason.
