- Two arrests have been made in connection with a string of arsons that wreaked havoc on Southwest Oklahoma City in February. Investigators say suspects Jonathan Wise and Christopher Holden are responsible for setting a total of one dozen fires across the metro area. Both men were arrested on Apr. 17 after witnesses allegedly saw them setting fire to a home near Southwest 52nd Street. (news9.com KWTV)
- A partial lineup for this year's free summer concert series at Scissortail Park has been announced. The park will host its series opener on Sunday, May 8, featuring up-and-coming singer/songwriter Amythyst Kiah. On Saturday, May 21, multi-platinum artist LeAnn Rimes will take the stage at the Love’s Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn downtown. Both concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m. (City-sentinel)
- A Caddo County murder suspect jumped into a canal and attempted to swim away to evade Oklahoma City police. According to Oklahoma City Police Department Capt. Valerie Littlejohn, officers ended up on the suspect's trail on Wednesday. The yet-unnamed suspect jumped into a canal to escape but was eventually captured by authorities. (KFOR)
