- One person is dead and another is injured after an altercation at a convenience store led to a shooting on Saturday night. Police responded around 10:00 p.m. to the scene at the 7-Eleven near Southwest 29th Street and South Blackwelder Avenue, where a victim was shot and killed following an argument with an employee at the store. A woman in the store was hit by a stray bullet and transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
- Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at a vacant apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City on Sunday. Fire crews quickly extinguished the second-floor blaze at the complex near Northwest 10th Street and Rockwell Avenue before the fire spread to other parts of the building. Fire department officials say one person was treated for minor smoke inhalation. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
- The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) has launched a mural project to spotlight mental health and addiction recovery. The Recovery Mural Project uses community art to spotlight recovery providers across the state and celebrate the recovery process. Each mural is painted by an Oklahoma artist who is on their own recovery journey. (City-Sentinel)
