  1. The ribbon-cutting ceremony and reopening of the newly expanded Belle Isle Library took place yesterday afternoon. The $7.8 million renovation and expansion include the addition of a brand new Maker Space and fully automated book returns. The library has a special lineup of concerts, programs, and tours all weekend long to celebrate the grand reopening. (Oklahoma City Free Press)
  2. Several students at the University of Central Oklahoma say their personal information was compromised after their social media accounts were hacked. One student, Elvira Sanchez, says the hackers posed as a classmate before holding her Instagram account hostage and demanding a ransom of $300. Sanchez added that nothing has happened since she refused to pay the fee but is urging other students to be on the lookout for the scam. (News On 6)
  3. The Starlight Supper outdoor picnic will return to Kerr Park on Thursday, May 26. The evening under the stars will feature a dinner curated by popular local chefs as well as a live performance by jazz quartet Spunk Adams & Friends. Tickets go on sale next Thursday, Apr. 14, at 10:00 a.m. and are expected to sell out quickly. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
