Here are the top three stories today in Oklahoma City:
- Oklahoma City's own Unwind Cafe gives back to those experiencing homelessness. During the month of February, they are trying to do just that all with a little "love cake," created by chef Mikel Pichs. The cakes come in different sizes and spell out “l-o-v-e.” A portion of the café’s proceeds from the cakes this month will go towards the Curbside Chronicle employment program through the Homeless Alliance. (News On 6)
- Beginning this weekend, Midsummer Night's Dream is headed to University Theatre at the University of Oklahoma. Showtimes will be at 8 p.m. from Feb. 25 to 26 and March 3 to 5 and at 3 p.m. on Feb. 27 and Mar. 6 in the Weitzenhoffer Theatre, 563 Elm Ave. in Norman. At-home viewing will be available with video-on-demand. (Norman Transcript)
- The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation is seeking applications for its 2022-23 Teen Leaders class. Now in its tenth year, the free program is open to high school students entering their sophomore, junior and senior years. Applications are due on Mar. 15. (Duncan Banner)
