Here are the top three stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma hosted a Celebration of Hope over the weekend. The event took place on Saturday night at the First Americans Museum in OKC and featured former Sooner Quarterback Sam Bradford as the honorary chair. The goal of the event, according to the organizers, was to raise awareness of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary’s work in Central Oklahoma. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. A man who jumped out of his moving vehicle died on Saturday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The man, who jumped from his vehicle for an unknown reason, arrived at the hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating the man’s reasons for jumping from the vehicle. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  3. State legislators continue to debate multiple pieces of legislation focused on banning abortion. Seven different bills are currently in the Oklahoma legislature, including the nationally-recognized Senate Bill 612, which would put any abortion provider in custody for 10 years. Read about the bills at the link. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
