Dads and daughters are invited to dance the night away at the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Daddy Daughter Dance on April 9 at Sky Rink in Scissortail Park, 801 S. Robinson Ave.

People can register to attend one of three fairy garden-themed dance sessions:

Register by logging on to okc.gov/parks or clicking on this link. Registration is $35 per person and $10 for each additional daughter.

The event includes refreshments, a live DJ, photo booth, cotton candy, horse-drawn carriage rides and more.

“This dance is the Parks Department’s most popular event of the year,” said Parks and Recreation Director Melinda McMillan-Miller. “We want fathers and daughters to make lasting memories and have the time of their lives.”

The makeup day in case of inclement weather is May 7.

Event sponsors include 84 Hospitality Group, the Law Office of Lindsey W. Andrews, and Insomnia Cookies.
