Oklahoma City voters head to the polls on Feb. 8 to cast ballots in the general mayoral election.

The candidates are: 

If the winner of the Feb. 8 general election earns a majority of the votes, that candidate will be sworn-in to a four-year term as Mayor in April. If no candidate receives a majority, the two candidates with the most votes will stand in a decisive runoff election April 5.

The mayor is one of nine members of the Oklahoma City Council. The other members represent each of Oklahoma City’s eight Wards

The Mayor and Council is nonpartisan and members serve part-time at the head of the City’s Council-Manager form of government. The mayor’s annual salary is $24,000, and Council members’ annual salary is $12,000. 

Voting information

All registered Oklahoma City voters are eligible to vote in the election. To find your polling location, look at your voter ID card or use the Oklahoma State Election Board website at ok.gov/elections

Early voting for the general election is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 3-4. 

Voters who have disabilities can find more information about voter assistance in Oklahoma at ok.gov/elections.
