Here are the top three stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. A dump truck driver was rescued from his truck after the vehicle struck a power pole Friday. The man was trapped in the cab of his truck when electric wires landed on top. OG&E authorities worked with OKC first responders to shut off the power line and rescue the man from the cab. Click the link for more info. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. A suspect is in custody after shots were fired at an apartment complex on Thursday night. According to authorities, the incident began as an argument and escalated to gunshots before the suspect ran away. Police say they tracked the suspect down a few blocks away. No injuries were reported. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  3. The total number of people arrested in a sex trafficking scheme has risen to eight. According to police, the accused conspired to traffic a 15-year-old girl from Texas to Oklahoma City, where she was found safe. Police say that the individuals charged were involved with the trafficking, photography, and advertisement of the young girl and others who had been trafficked before. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
