Here are the top four stories in Oklahoma City today:

  1. Residents can celebrate Easter and spring at the Oklahoma City Zoo’s and Botanical Garden’s new Eggstravaganza, presented by Kinder Joy®. It features two family-friendly breakfast events on Apr. 16 and 17 with early entry into the park at 7:30 a.m. Attendees can have a grab-and-go breakfast, meet and greet plus photos with the Easter bunny, a sea lion presentation, and other activities.   2. The Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department is hiring hundreds of seasonal employees to staff aquatic centers, recreation centers, camps, athletic programs, and more this summer. Applicants ages 16 and older are encouraged to pre-apply and attend one of three job fairs being held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following days, at the Pete White Health & Wellness Center, 4021 S. Walker Ave: Mar. 26, Apr. 16, and May 7. Incentives may include sign-on and referral bonuses, hourly pay increases per month, and an end-of-season bonus. (Press Release Desk)
  3. Early on Friday morning, a man was shot and walked to a gas station near 2223 NW 23rd St. to get help. The man was taken to the hospital where he suffered minor injuries. There is no suspect at this time. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  4. Oklahoma City police are looking for suspects connected to an overnight pursuit. Officers said the pursuit began near Sheridan and Mickey Mantle Drive in Bricktown and ended near Northwest Expressway and Wedgewood Circle. Authorities have not released any suspect information at this time. (news9.com KWTV)

  • I-35 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at SH-53 West (mm 42) near Springer beginning Monday, Mar. 21, and continuing through late April for a bridge maintenance project. This work includes the repair of bridge expansion joints, abutments, and piers to help extend the life of these structures. (Facebook)
