🌱 1st National Center Brings Jobs + OCK Zoo 21 + Sip & Stroll Events

Here are the top three stories in Oklahoma City today:

  1. The First National Center opens to the public today after an extensive restoration project. The restoration focused on First National's 1 million-square-foot interior with revived murals and shined finishes. Not only does the refurbished building bring new life to OKC; the center is expected to add about 300 permanent jobs in Oklahoma City. (News on 6)
  2. OKC Zoo will host its annual Sip & Stroll evening events for guests this year. The event series is in its third year of success. Adults 21+ are welcome from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., beginning Apr. 21 and continuing through Sep. 15, to explore the majority of the Zoo while savoring delicious drinks inspired by exotic wildlife.   3. A northwest Oklahoma City shooting resulted in one injury. Not much is known about the situation except that police were called to N.W. 50th and Portland Ave for a reported shooting. The victim is expected to survive their injuries; no information about the suspect has been released. (KFOR)
