Here are the top three stories in Oklahoma City today:

  1. A gas line explosion sent two people to the hospital yesterday afternoon. The explosion, which occurred near SE 149th St. and Douglas, caused a grass fire in the area. See video footage of the fire on News 9. (news9.com KWTV)
  2. OKC area State Representative Collin Walke will not be seeking re-election for House District 87. The Democrat, who was first elected in 2016, endorsed Ellyn Hefner for the seat. Walke served on several committees and served as vice-chair of the Native American Caucus.(City-sentinel)
  3. Police are looking for a suspect after a shooting in South Oklahoma City early in the morning on Thursday. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex near I-240 and South Santa Fe Avenue. The victim's condition is unknown at this time. (KOCO Oklahoma City)

  • Downtown OKC Partnership invites you to ride the streetcar! The OKC Streetcar will be offering free rides between Tuesday, Apr. 19 and Sunday, Apr. 24 for the Festival of the Arts. (Facebook)
