- Multiple law enforcement agencies gathered downtown yesterday morning to simulate a hazmat incident. Members of Oklahoma City Emergency Management, the Oklahoma National Guard, Oklahoma City Police Department, Fire Department, and EMSA were in attendance for the exercise. Officials say they hope the training will help establish and refine partnerships between local, state, and federal agencies to better respond to incidents involving hazardous materials. (News On 6)
- An inmate at a corrections center in Oklahoma City escaped on Tuesday. Authorities say 50-year-old Ravin Gunter walked out of the Clara Waters Community Corrections Center where he was an inmate on Tuesday and had not been accounted for as of 10:20 p.m. that evening. Gunter is described as a five feet, nine inches tall man with low-cut brown hair. (news9.com KWTV)
- An illuminating event celebrating Allied Arts is scheduled to take place in Scissortail Park this Friday, Apr. 8. The "Catch the Glow" drone light show begins at 7:00 p.m. and will include glow-in-the-dark activities, roller skating, live performances, and more. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the various performances during the light installation, which will run until 11:00 p.m. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
