- The Boy Scouts of OKC may have a new home in a few short months. The Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America is looking to move its headquarters to a new location. It would be alongside the Oklahoma River with enough space to build an urban camp. The new space would allow for easier access for young scouts and parents in addition to more opportunities for canoeing, boating, and fishing. (Oklahoman.com)
- Oklahoma City residents had quite the surprise when they found raccoons were living inside the walls of their Lakeside Village apartment. A wildlife rescue organization saved a baby raccoon from inside the walls of Michelle Caffey's apartment. They believe the raccoon may have fallen down the wall from the attic. (News 9)
- There is a large need for lifeguards at Oklahoma City Pools this summer! Anyone looking for a part-time summer job is encouraged to apply. There are roughly 20-30 spots open right now that need to be filled, and starting lifeguards will make $13 with no experience. Training will be provided if necessary. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
