Here are the top three stories in Oklahoma City today:

  1. Oklahoma state troopers found a lost pony walking down I-240 yesterday. The equestrian eloper is reportedly being held by animal control while police search for the owner. According to officials, there was one accident caused by the pony, but no injuries were involved. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. The Oklahoma House passed a bill that would prevent trans girls from competing on female sports teams. The bill, HB 4245, was authored by Representative Toni Hasenbeck. It passed with a 79-18 vote, despite strong opposition from representatives like Mauree Turner, D-District 88. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  3. This week, Oklahoma City police filed an arrest warrant for Bryan Trochez, 22, in connection with the 2017 murder of Wilson Perez, 19. Someone who claimed to be friends with both the victim and assailant wrote a letter to investigators, prompting a reopening of the formerly cold case. The suspect is still at large, according to officials. (news9.com KWTV)
